WEDDING GIFT IDEAS!

We had the pleasure of hand delivering one of our Wedding Gift Boxes to the luxurious Castlemaytr Hotel Resort this week, for a special couple who were tying the knot x

We received this request a few weeks ago from a family that were invited to celebrate with the bridal couple, but they were unable to attend.

They wanted to give the couple a unique but special gift that they could enjoy. We were so honoured to be asked to delivery our Gift Box, with their personal message to the couple on their big day.

TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY!

Hope you are all feeling merry and happy and looking forward to the most wonderful time of the year.. So our Christmas shopping spree started in August this year, been newbies to the gift business we went in search across our emerald isle for some Christmas goodies!

Santa’s Elves AKA Team Léanas (nutters Ber & Anne!) took off to the big smoke Dublin so we left the kingdom for our first “Trade Fair” we meant big business 😉

It was like a Christmas wonderland… but we were on a mission to put Christmas in a Box, not just any box but a pretty vintage Léanas Box! Celtic Candles wowed us over with their Christmas Scents….Cinnamon & clove, French vanilla, Frankincense & Myth… we were sold!

Candles sorted, we were onto our next road trip….this time we stayed local in the kingdom and took a trip over the mountains to Dingle the home of Fungi! We were on the hunt for Dovinia’s Handmade Chocolate “Food of the Gods” this award winning chocolate was a winner for us.

We were hooked with Prosecco and Raspberry White Chocolates (as every woman would be!) and Salted Carmel Milk Chocolate, we were in heaven!

Next on our list was something to pamper our weary bones for the cold winter ahead, so we headed for Kinsale, across the border to the Rebel land!!

This trip was worth it – “Wild Atlantic Natural Soaps” Christmas Bath Bombs, the fabulous scents alone were enough to sell us… Spiced Orange, White Christmas, Peppermint Candy and Christmas Rose, packed in with dried orange, cinnamon and rose petals, they are only fabulous and would spoil that special person in your life or any Irish Mammy that needs a treat after doing the Christmas dinner!

Then late October it all came together we found a Christmas Ribbon and our Rose Gold Christmas Wishes arrived…

They were perfect; we had created Christmas in a Box, Léanas style! Then the fun started how were we going to present and pack our emerald Christmas Goodies, Santa’s Elves had a few disagreements as all sisters do… armed with Léanas Christmas Cards, snow and festive red tissue paper Léanas Christmas Gift Box was complete, we were ready to send some Christmas Wishes xx

WHAT A YEAR 2016 HAS BEEN…

We have had such an amazing year taking the plunge and starting Léanas Gift in a Box. It all started last March when we decided to just go for it and take the gamble, at the end of the day the worst that can happen! We were brimming with excitement so many ideas, our heads were in overdrive now to get the ideas on paper and get our dream started was next course of action.

We had the main concept a Gift in a Box – but we wanted a special crafted box that would stand out from the crowd, lots of searching on Pinterest, idea boards, viber chats back and forth we decided on our vintage theme – it’s all about the ribbon, twine, buttons, straw and presentation.

Then the hunt started for the gifts; we wanted something special that would appeal to everyone with we went on some shopping roadtrips (coffee and buns were a bonus!) in search of our gift selection xx Now we had some gifts and an idea we needed logos, website, social media accounts, bank accounts the list went on!

Roll on May 2016 we were ready to go live Léanas Gift in a Box was launched x Since then we have been going non-stop attending fairs, launching our Christmas Collection, getting our professional website, meeting our fantastic customers and of course sending Gift Boxes! 2016 was super for us and we cannot wait to get started for 2017…

We have some more exciting plans coming on aboard for Léanas Gift in a Box; we hope you love our Gift Boxes as much as we do!

Wedding Showcase

Where has 2017 gone… cannot believe it is already May xx We have not updated our blog in a while; it has been a crazy few months in the land of Léanas! We have been busy beavers working on our New Wedding Collection, which we were so delighted to fully launch at our very first Wedding Fayre last month!! Where better to do this but in our home town at the fabulous Listowel Arms Hotel at their renowned Bridal Showcase evening xx

Listowel Arms tucked away in the corner of the square with so much character and vintage style, perfect setting for an evening Bridal show with the sun shining through on us in the conservatory we were all set up for an evening of mingling. What a fantastic evening it was we got to meet so many beautiful brides and grooms to be along with their family and friends. When you do everything online we get such a buzz from getting out and meeting people, properly get a bit too excited!! We were so delighted with the wonderful feedback from everyone on the night on our New Wedding Collection xx We had our new Engagement Gift Box, Will you be my Bridesmaid Gift Box and our Wedding Gift Box for the special couple on display but our newest additions Flower Girl and Page Boy Gift Bagswere the biggest hit on the night xx

There were some fabulous Wedding Suppliers lined up for the Bridal Showcase, we were as delighted to get the posing tips from photographer Brendan Landy… we need to start practising these in the mirror 😉 Premium Vintage Prosecco Van was just gorgeous, super idea for a wedding reception, just a pity we were working! The lovely ladies from Vanity Case Beauty Salon and the amazing Blogger Stylish Eilish just to mention a few. Such an amazing evening xx We have some exciting plans coming soon for our 1st Birthday, so tuned for updates! We hope you love our gift boxes as much as we do.
